otherwise thursday, friday, saturday even into sunday we are looking at generally dry conditions. for today there is a slight chance for a shower or storm. but much drier across parts of colorado. i want to take you to the east. we have a number of frost advisories and freeze warnings in effect. we are waking up to the second morning in a row of cold temperatures where crops could be damaged out here. within some of the higher elevations and in between some of those cities some of those smaller towns are waking up with temperatures only in the 30's. a chilly start today across sections of the northeast and the great lakes. there is a low across the center of the country. take a look at this. 792 for the high in kansas city. 92 memphis. climbing into the 80d in chicago. by tomorrow the high temperature in chicago 89 degrees.

reports circulating at this hour these two suspects may be dae manning a ransom. fox has not been able to independently confirm those reports. but however at this point anything is possible. this is just all around a pretty shocking case against 14-year-old perez missing 24-hours after being kidnapped from her home in the middle of the night. her mother told police the two suspects broke in through the back door. she took her two children and the family dog and hid in a closet. at that point the suspects did find the family hiding in the closet confronted the family, asked for money and jewels. when the mother couldn't produce any that is when the suspect shot the family dog and kidnapped that young girl. they have leased a sketch of the two suspects in the case. they are asking the public to pay close attention take a close look at these sketches of these two suspects because of course they could be anywhere at this

you could be looking at a shower maybe a thunderstorm. it is very slight. we are talking 10 percent of seeing that activity. isolated across parts of colorado. the national hurricane centersy tracting an area of low pressure across parts of mexico. we have picked up significant rainfall. folks in acapulco have been stuck and stranded out there. some people haven't been able to return home. a lot of heavy rain has been an issue across mexico. now we are tracking the area of low pressure that has an 80 percent chance of becoming a tropical storm. take a look over the next several days. gulf of mexico and computer models some taken over parts of mexico bad news more rain in an area that picked up as much as 20 inches of rain in some of the higher elevations or parts of the gulf coast could be looking at impacts of the stormt system. in the northeast frost advisory
